Civil Engineering is at the heart of Direct Drains services. Our engineering manager oversees all excavation and civil works and is our expert in innovative, cost and labour-saving techniques such as our "no-dig" drain renovation service Red Line pipe lining.

Our company was among the first in the country to make wide use of closed circuit television (CCTV) surveying of drains taking the guesswork out of drain maintenance and making it into a science - so we and you know what we are looking at.

Our main depot is near the motorway hub close to Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre giving access to all parts of the country. It has direct computer links to insurance company claims networks to ensure smooth administration.

Our fleet of specialist vehicles is controlled by global positioning systems (GPS) for speed of response to calls even if Villa or Blues are playing or the Ryder Cup is on.
